Simon Knight BSc(Hons) MRICS - Director

Simon Knight is 'born and bred' in Maidstone and after graduating from Bristol Polytechnic in 1980, qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1984. Simon's career has been based in the southeast of England, initially within the specialist field of licensed premises; he has since gained considerable experience in the commercial property sector, principally in the provision of appraisal and valuation reports, mainly for secured lending purposes.

In 1999, Simon established Knight Freeman Chartered Surveyors, working together in partnership with Kevin Freeman and has since continued to provide commercial property appraisal and valuation reports, including business assessments and trading related valuations on specialised trading property, e.g. public houses, hotels, restaurants, care and nursing homes.

Simon manages Knight Freeman's head office in Maidstone, continuing to provide valuation advice throughout the southeast of England.

Kevin Freeman BSc(Hons) FRICS - Director

Kevin Freeman originates from south west London but graduated in 1978 from Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham, and spent the early part of his career living and working in the East Midlands. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1980 and returned to London in 1982, since when he has lived and worked in London and the South East.

Kevin has broad experience gained in both the residential and commercial sectors of the property market and has specialised in appraising and valuing trading businesses since the late 1980s. He operates principally in south and west London, Surrey and the southern Home Counties, from his base in Guildford. Kevin was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1995.
